Dokument Press at the Gothenburg bookfair

As every year Dokument Press will be at the Gothenburg bookfair in Sweden. You can find us at booth B 02:22 from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th of September.
Finsta has created the art work for the booth, and Pike will be arranging Open Book sessions with the public.
Of course all our new titles as well as the classics will be there.

Subway World - a new Dokument Press title

Subway World is a book about graffiti on subway trains all over the world. What started in New York in the seventies has become an worldwide artform with thousands of artists. The tradition of using subway cars as canvases has been preserved and has become an integrated part of the graffiti movement. Subway World takes you through more than 70 cities and four different continents. Everywhere where there are subway trains there is graffiti. Graffiti seminar in Copenhagen

Galleri Pixel invites to an evening seminar about graffiti in Copenhagen. Thursday September 10th Claus Michael Pedersen (CMP), Tobias Barenthin Lindblad (Dokument Press/UP) and Marie Rømer Westh will talk about the potentials of graffiti. Mette Truberg from Pixel gallery will moderate the evening. All in danish.
